This page summarises the basic terms of carriage on Yolbil Turizm services. The full text appears in the ticket sales contract and the provisions of the Road Transport Regulation.
Baggage
- One suitcase of up to 25 kg per passenger is free in the luggage hold; extra baggage is carried at 5% of the line fare (maximum 150 TRY)
- Hand luggage up to 5 kg is carried on the overhead rack
- Carrying flammable, explosive and hazardous goods is prohibited
- Bicycles, musical instruments and sports equipment are carried if notified in advance
Ticket changes and cancellations
- Cancellation up to 24 hours before departure is refunded at 100% of the fare, 24–6 hours at 80% and 6–1 hours at 50%
- No refund within one hour of departure; the ticket can be converted into an open ticket (valid six months)
- A date and time change may be made once free of charge up to two hours before departure
- If Yolbil cancels the service the fare is fully refunded
Children, seniors, pets
Children aged 0–6 travel free on a lap (a child ticket is bought if a seat is requested). A ticket for ages 7–12 is discounted by 25%. Passengers over 65 receive a 20% discount. Pets are carried in a closed carrier in the luggage section on certain lines only, if notified in advance (extra charge 150 TRY).
Delays and cancellations
If a service is cancelled or delayed by more than two hours by Yolbil the passenger can choose between a full refund of the fare or free validity on the next service.
